China tasted first defeat as Wang missed the game

　　Sinasports-In the Stankovic Cup Day 2, China tasted their first defeat in the tournament, they were down 76-80 to Slovenia.

　　Liu Wei got a team-high 24 point, Yi Jianlian and Wang Shipeng got 12 point apiece, Zhu Fangyu got 10.

　　The absence of Wang Zhizhi weakened the Chinese side, China only had only efficient players inside: the NBA's 6th pick overall, Yi Jianlian. In the first quarter, China once took the lead. But Slovenia player continously attacked the basket and took control. At the end of the first quarter, China was down 21-25.

　　In the FIBA World Championship, China won over Slovenia. The Slovenia squad were not include the NBA players but they are still powerful. Slovenia extended their lead in the second quarter and led the first half 46-37.

　　China trailed in the last quarter but there was no enough time. China squad tasted their first defeat in the Stankovic Cup.
