Ljubicics Live it Up in Beijing

　　Croatian Ivan Ljubicic and wife Aida enjoyed a romantic evening together in Beijing on Sunday night prior to the start of the China Open.

　　The couple traveled in the luxury of a Mercedes-Benz S-Class for more than an hour in Beijing's notorious traffic before arriving at their destination, Hou Hai (known as the Back Sea).

　　The couple were then taken on a candlelit gondola ride around the Hou Hai and were treated to a traditional music performance onboard. Following local custom, Ivan and Aida then made a wish before placing lotus candles into the water -Ljubicic no doubt wishing for his first China Open title this week.

　　After the romantic ride, the couple then dined by candlelight at a riverside restaurant, Buffalo, to cap off a wonderful evening in Beijing. The dinner capped off a long day for Ljubicic who spent the morning in a production meeting with new sponsor Li-Ning.

　　The local clothing manufacturer is sure to draw extra crowd support for the Croatian this week. Ljubicic will open his China Open campaign on Tuesday, when he will play a qualifier.
