Greg Norman

Greg Norman entered theworld of golf in 1970 when he was 15 years old, and he did so with the sametenacity and intent as with all his other endeavors. His interest stemmed in anunusual fashion when, after offering to caddy for his mother, he borrowed herclubs after the round and set off on his own. Following that initialexperience, Norman spent the next few yearsworking as an Australian PGA trainee, playing amateur and open tournaments throughoutAustraliabefore turning professional in 1976.
Most famously, Norman won two British Open Championships, the first in1986 at Turnberry in Scotland,and the second in 1993 at Royal St. George’s. In total, Norman has won 91 professional events aroundthe world, including 20 US PGA Tour titles。
Norman currently servesas the Chairman and CEO of Great White Shark Enterprises, a multinationalcorporation comprised of several companies and divisions including Greg NormanCourse Design, Greg Norman Wine Estates, Greg Norman Australian Prime, SouthernCross Developments, Greg Norman Production Company, Greg Norman’s AustralianGrille, and Greg Norman Interactive, along with many other merchandising andlicensing initiatives。
