Belén Mozo

Belén Mozo began playing golf at age 8. She compiled an illustrious amateur recordincluding victories at the PING Junior Solheim Cup, Junior Ryder Cup, EuropeanLadies Amateur Championship, European Ladies Team Championship, and the JuniorInternational Championship of Spain. Shewon both the British Ladies Open Amateur Championship and the British GirlsOpen Amateur Championship in 2006, becoming the only woman to win both in thesame year since Mickey Walker in 1972.
Mozo moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to play collegiate golf for theUniversity of Southern California, where she helped guide the Trojans to aNational Championship in 2008. She wasan NCAA All-American each of her four years with USC.
Mozo’s individual victories also include the Edean IhlanfeldtInvitational (NCAA), the AJGA Thunderbird Invitational and the Doral-PublixJunior Classic。
She turned professional at the 2010 US Women’s Open, and has sincemade her professional debuts on both the LPGA and Ladies European Tour. Mozo has been selected as one of the “futurestars” for the 2010 Mission Hills Star Trophy.
