Mission Hills continues itsdynamic role at the forefront of China’s golf boom with the launch of theMission Hills Star Trophy at Mission Hills ·Haikou in late October, 2010. Mission Hills’ programs togrow the game also include amateur and junior golf initiatives. It recentlyestablished the Mission Hills Golf Series, has been the official home of theFaldo Series Asia since 2006, and founded the Mission Hills Jack NicklausJunior Championship in2008. In October 2009 the club hosted the inaugural AsianAmateur Championship, Asia’s first amateurtournament to offer the winner a Masters exemption. Mission Hills will invest overUS$5 million in junior golf development in 2010.
