Mission Hills Group Chairmanrecognized for Philanthropic Endeavours. The Chairman of Mission Hills Group,Dr David Chu was recently recognized for his substantial contributions topublic welfare during an occasion marking the fifteenth anniversary of theChina Charity Foundation. The event in particular recognized Dr David Chu’ssupport of the Sichuan Earthquake relief effort and various other initiativesto alleviate the impact of natural disasters in China.

Corporations, individuals and charity groups with outstandingcontributions to charity affairs in 2008 were awarded. National Chairman andGeneral Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Hu Jintao attended theceremony. Mission Hills Golf Club was awarded as “Most Virtuous Foreign-fundedCorporation” of the China Charity Award.

This event was jointly hosted by famous mediaorganizations in commercial world, 25 provincial and civil TV stations aroundthe country, Sohu commonweal and so on, in order to commend individuals andenterprises doing outstanding contribution in fields of earthquake relief,commonweal causes and charity in 2008. As its outstanding contribution in2008 earthquake relief, Mission Hills was awarded as the “Best Brand SocialResponsibility Apotheosis”.

Dr. David Chu,Chairman of Mission Hills Golf Club and J.P., listed the ninth place, and wasthe only Chinese in the top ten.
