International Athletic Management Limited is a subsidiary of Global Sports Communication (GSC), which specialising in managing athletes’ affairs and helpingworld class athletes fulfill their dreams in becoming the best they can be.

　　The International Athletic Management Limited is responsible for looking after mainland athletes in China, overseeing their training and organising competition for the athletes.

　　GSC is one of the world’s biggest athletic management companies, representing a wide range of world class athletes and the list is growing. GSC negotiates with organisers and sponsors, while organising travel, accommodation and visas for their athletes. They also offer medical, training and marketing assistance as part of their many expert services.

　　GSC vice president is former world 10,000 metres record holder, Jos Hermens, a Dutch native, who is also vice president of the International Associations of Athletes’ Managers. Renowned for his expertise and well-known globally, Mr Hermens has a very close relationship and connection with world athletics as a whole.

　　GSC has more than 110 world class athletes, including Romanian superstar Gabriela Szabo, the Sydney Olympic gold medallist in the women’s 5,000 metres.

　　The list also includes Olympic, World and World Cup champion Kenenia Bekele of Ethiopia, who had a phenomenal year in 2004, and many other world and Olympic champions from other disciplines.

　　GSC clients produced 10 medals at last year’s Athens Olympics and GSC athletes currently hold a total of 10 world record holders in various disciplines.

　　Besides managing the athlete’s career, GSC has experience in organising world class events such as Amsterdam Marathon, the Grand Prix Banamex in Mexico, the Enschede Marathon in the Netherlands, Switzerland’s Grand Prix of Bern and the 5k Schweizer Frauenlauf, also in Switzerland, plus the Groningen 4 miles in the Netherlands, among others.

　　Over the past 10 years, GSC and China’s track and field team have formed a very close partnership. fostering co-operation and enthusiasm. As a partner of China’s athletics team, GSC has put such famous mainland athletes like former women’s world shotput champion, Huang Zhihong, under their wing.

　　The first world class hurdler Li Tung, the former Asian men’s record holder and famous female long jumper Huang Geng have also used GSC’s expertise and have competed in big European meetings to gain exposure and experience.
