　　Skating　has　developed　along　several　different　lines　speed　skating，figure　skating　and　skating　games.There　are　two　kindsof　speed　skating.Long　track　speed　skating　usually　isan　open-air　sport　with　the　length　ofthetrack　400m.Shorttrack　speed　skating　isan　indoor　sport　on　a　rink　with　the　length　of　the　track　200m.Skaters　in　speed　skating　race　against　theclock　and　against　competitiorsin　other　lanesoftherink.

　　滑冰在沿着几种不同形式发展着——速度滑冰、花样滑冰和滑冰游戏。速度滑冰有两种形式。在户外进行的长道速滑，通常为400米一圈。在室内溜冰场进行的短道速滑，通常为200米一圈。速度滑冰比赛既要与时间又要与冰场上另一道上的对手比赛。
