  Tom Fox is Senior Vice President of Sports & Event Marketing for Gatorade Thirst Quencher, a division of PepsiCo Beverages & Foods. Tom oversees a staff of 26 and is responsible for developing the brand’s sports marketing strategies including all league, team and spokesperson relations and negotiations. He was named to the Sports Business Journal’s prestigious Forty Under 40 list for 2001 and 2002.

  Since the 2001 merger with Pepsi Co., Tom’s sports marketing group has continued to build an unparalleled roster of sports relationships, ranging from professional and collegiate leagues and teams, state high school associations and allied health care organizations like the NATA and the ACSM, to media partnerships with ABC/ESPN sports. Tom’s team has also invested in key renewals like the new 4 year agreement with the NBA last year, and additions to Gatorade’s sponsorship portfolio like the AVP and MLS, which reinforce Gatorade’s sports industry leadership and brand equity.

  Tom began his career with Quaker Oats in 1985 as an assistant brand manager in the company’s food division. He advanced through the company’s ranks to the position of group manager of worldwide sports marketing before departing Quaker in 1993.

  汤姆的职业生涯始于1985年在QUAKER OATS公司做食品品牌经理助理。在1993年离开QUAKER公司的时候,他已担任到了全球体育营销经理的职务。

  Prior to Tom re-joining the Gatorade brand in April of 1999, Tom most recently held the title of U.S. Sports Marketing Director for Nike, Inc. in Beaverton, Ore. There he was responsible for the strategic direction and management of Nike’s sports marketing programs in the United States, including league, team and spokesperson relationships. Prior to that, Tom was Asia Pacific Sports Marketing Director for Nike, based in Hong Kong.

  在汤姆1999年4月加盟佳得乐品牌之前,汤姆担任了位于俄勒冈州比华顿的耐克公司美国运动市场经理一职。在那里他负责美国耐克运动营销项目策略规划与管理,包括联赛,球队和新闻发布等方面。再之前,他曾担任设于香港的耐克亚太地区体育营销经理一职。

  Prior to his tenure with Nike, Tom was vice president, managing director for NBA Asia, Ltd. in Hong Kong from 1995-1997. He also held the post of director of sponsor programs at NBA Properties in New York from 1993-1995.

  在加盟耐克之前,汤姆于1995-1997年任香港NBA亚洲公司的经理和副总裁。1993-1995年他还担任过纽约NBA资产公司赞助事项经理。

  Tom received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio in 1985. He and his wife live in Chicago. They have a son, Baker and a daughter, Rae.

  汤姆于1985年获得俄亥俄州迈阿密大学的政治学学士学位,他和他的夫人生活在芝加哥。他们有一子贝克和一女瑞艾。
